Currently, the Village employs 41 full-time and 24 part-time people in the offices of the Administrator and Clerk Treasurer, Police Department and Department of Public Works. The East Aurora Fire Department is 100% volunteer.

Employment positions are governed under New York State Civil Service Law, whether competitive (exam required) or non-competitive, exempt or labor (no exam required).
