Waste Management Sanitation Pickup Changes

Effective the week of May 22, 2017, the following streets will have their trash pickup moved to Thursday pickup: Knox Road, Douglas Drive, Grey Street, Mill Street, Woodbrook Drive, Fairlawn Court, Fairlawn Drive, Beech Road, Hamburg Street, Commerce Way, Bosie Alley, Quaker Road, Kelly Drive. The following streets will have their trash pickup moved to a Wednesday pickup: Center Street, Oakwood Ave from Sycamore to Center, Park Place, Prospect Street from Sycamore to Center .  Download full details and a route map.

USDA, Rural Development

Funds are currently available to residents in the Village of East Aurora to purchase or repair single family homes. We have several financial programs that support essential public facilities and services, such as water and sewer systems, housing, health clinics, emergency service facilities and electric and telephone service. The downloadable 502 application is for customers looking to purchase homes and make repairs to the home (we have no down payment required, no PMI, low interest rate, and flexible credit criteria). The downloadable 504 application is for current home owners to repair their homes (low interest rate and/or grants – dependent on eligibility).
