GIS Mapping Application

In the fall of 2009 the Village of East Aurora was awarded a grant from the New York State Education Department to develop a (Geographic Information System) GIS mapping system.   The GIS web site, which can be accessed by clicking the above link, allows online access to zoning, aerial photographs, street names, parcel numbers, property owner name and address.  Other available information includes flood map designations (under environmental features), location of waterways, parks, railroads, and land use.

The various levels of information are available for every parcel in the Village of East Aurora.  Users can navigate to a specific parcel utilizing the “find parcel” button and entering one of the following pieces of information:  address number, street name, SBL or owner name.  Additional "help" information can be found in the upper right hand corner of the web page.

The GIS website is hosted by Wendel Duchscherer

Special thanks go out to Matt Grabau and Steve Szopinski, of the Greater Buffalo Niagara Transportation Council, also know as GBNRTC, who assisted the Village in creating these maps.   You will find the maps very helpful in locating "off Main Street" parking.  By clicking on any of the links below, you will be able to view and or download the area maps.  Maps are separated between the west end of the village (near traffic circle) and the east end of the village.  You'll also be able to view timed walking distances from where you park to where you are going.  If you need additional assistance, please call the Main Street Project Coordinator, Paul, at 716.462.0816.
