The Village is governed by a Mayor and (6) Village Trustees. Meetings are held twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in Village Hall. Schedule is subject to change.
Currently, the village employs 37 full time and 20 part time people in the Administrator and Clerk Treasurer Office, Police Department and Department of Public Works. The East Aurora Fire Department is 100% volunteer.
Employment positions are governed under New York State Civil Service Law, whether competitive (exam required) or non-competitive, exempt or labor (no exam required).
