Hunt for Home Hazards

Look for fire hazards in your home and the homes of others that you visit. Using the fire triangle and the classes of fuels, look for places where they come together with the potential for a heat source such as around the furnace or water heater. Take steps to separate the legs of the fire triangle, and thereby prevent fires. Regular house cleaning gives you and your parents the opportunity to find these fuel hazards and discard them.
