The Department of Public Works, with a staff of 15, completes the following responsibilities:

Waste Management, Inc. is under contract with the Village for recycling & trash collection. The contract eliminates future costly equipment purchases, yet provides an equal level of service to the community.
Please pay close attention to the quantities. Excess amounts will not be picked up or allowed to be left at the curb. If you do have additional trash, above the four can limit, you can now purchase tags at the Village Clerk's Office for $1.00 per tag; one tag per can/bag.
